All-Around Champion & Buckle Awards
We’re excited to bring back the All-Around Champion Buckles, awarded to riders who accumulate the most points throughout the two-day show. Riders are encouraged to try different disciplines - gamers in pleasure classes and pleasure horses in gaming classes are all welcome! Diana Rose Manella Memorial Trophy & Buckles
Diana was a beloved former board member of the Trout Creek Agricultural Society and a passionate supporter of the Trout Creek Horse Show. Diana’s energy and love for this event touched many. Sadly, Diana passed away in 2025 and we aim to keep her memory alive through these events. This year, we’re honored to introduce a brand-new Mystery Race dedicated to the memory of Diana, this race was one of Diana's favorites and will be a fun, exciting tribute to her spirit. Open Mystery Race - Trophy In addition, we’ll be presenting special buckles in Diana’s honor - designed to reflect both friendly competition and the community values she championed. The D.R.M Team Award Buckles will be presented to one Adult rider and one Youth rider who exemplify the true spirit of horsemanship. They must showcase their love for their horse, teamwork, and a commitment to their horse’s well-being above all else.
Diana was a passionate horsewoman who believed deeply in the connection, bond, and healing power that horses can offer. She understood that the heart of riding is about more than just winning, it’s about trust, love, and the mutual respect between horse and rider.
These buckles serve as a reminder to us all of the importance of mental health, our love and bond with our horses, and the enduring memory of a remarkable woman who loved her community, this fair, and her horse, Rain.
Let’s honour her legacy by fostering kindness, connection, and awareness both in and out of the saddle this season.
